The Deputy Minister of Health and the Director of the Food and Drug Administration issued a circular calling on medical universities to prioritize domestic production in meeting the needs of medical centers.

Follow-up letter 137390/655 dated 28/09/94 regarding the obligation of medical centers to meet the needs of domestic products and notification No. 79429 dated 11/30/84 of the President and in accordance with the laws and other regulations and circulars issued by the esteemed Council of Ministers Also, according to the communication of general policies of national production, support of Iranian labor and capital and resistance economy, by the Supreme Leader, meeting the needs of medical centers with quality domestic products is a priority. Therefore, please instruct in the field of medical equipment and supplies, all medical centers affiliated to the University of Medical Sciences to comply with the above-mentioned directives and purchase domestically produced goods that have a valid manufacturing license from this organization (only goods based on the contents of the General Equipment Office website And medical supplies, have a valid manufacturing license at www.imed.ir).
Of course, all pharmacies located in government medical centers that supply medical goods and supplies are also subject to this instruction.
