Launching electronic warranty and comprehensive insurance at customs
Implementation of consolidated guarantees and insurance policies in customs, Iranian Customs announced: Consolidated guarantees and insurance policies will be launched electronically with the aim of facilitating trade and assisting transit in the executive customs.
According to Anna Economic Group of Iran Customs; The cumulative guarantee is definite for the import procedure, and it is in this way that the owner of the goods deposits the guarantee with the operating bank and submits the guarantee to the customs, the period of which is up to the 15th of Bahman of this year for raw materials and basic goods. The goods will be for a maximum of six months if there are special conditions.
This guarantee is considered as cash and the customs can deduct the obligations of the owner of the goods or his entry fee from the total deposit of the person. Also, in case of credit reduction, a person can recharge his credit amount.
The advantage of aggregate guarantees is that the owner of the goods does not have to go through the steps of obtaining a guarantee to pay the entry fee for each statement, and this will speed up the clearance process.
Apart from the definitive import procedure and for other procedures such as temporary import, transit and export, the owners of goods can also clear the goods, pass the goods or export them by providing insurance vouchers from the companies that are parties to the contract with the Iranian Customs. After fulfilling their obligations, the mentioned vouchers will be returned to them, and in case of non-fulfillment of the obligation, the costs will be collected from the desired insurance company in accordance with the regulations. It is worth mentioning that in order to develop the process of electronicization, the Iranian Customs intends to provide the possibility of using the mentioned facilities through a comprehensive customs system, which is currently underway and will be put into operation soon.
