Revocation of customs vehicle approval

Cancellation of car customs clearance: The Supreme Council of Free Zones called for the cancellation of the car customs clearance.

After the issuance of the customs directive banning the temporary entry of vehicles with free zone license plates into the mainland, the Supreme Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones reacted to this directive and demanded the repeal of the customs directive.

Accordingly, the Director of Export Development and Customs Facilities of the Free Zones, in a letter addressed to the head of the Center for Import and Free Economic Zones and Special Economic Zones of Iran Customs, requested the cancellation of the previous directive regarding the non-entry of vehicles with free zone license plates. The agreement between the Director General of Customs of Iran and the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Zones to issue a temporary vehicle entry permit with a free zone license plate has been mentioned as a facility for free zone investors. It should be noted that in recent months, sensitivities on the performance of free zones have increased.
