Export of Iranian horses to the European Union: Iranian horses in the European Union will be on all fours, following the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Denmark in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine, Iran is included in the list of authorized exporters of horses to the European Union.

According to the IANA correspondent, “Mehdi Khalaj” today at the ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Denmark, which was held in Tehran, added: Therefore, today’s memorandum can provide the grounds for a safe and secure trade for the economic actors of the two countries.

“Iran has a mass of horses with commercial and economic capabilities and seeks to participate in regional and international arenas,” he stressed. “While the condition of entering these competitions or trading in this sector requires the observance of some health requirements.”

The head of the country’s veterinary organization said: “Recently, a shipment of boneless beef meat was imported from Denmark, and we intend to import a supplement of animal feed as well as salmon eggs from Denmark.”

Khalaj added: “Now some French economic actors are looking for joint ventures to produce fish breeding centers in Iran, in which the Danes can also cooperate.”

He reminded that Iran is on the list of authorized exporters of shrimp to the European Union and added: “This memorandum can provide conditions for the export of shrimp to Denmark.”

Khalaj said about the impact of Borjam in the veterinary sector: “During the period of imposing harsh sanctions against Iran, non-governmental sector activists had serious obstacles to import from our country, but with the implementation of Borjam, money transfer and opening of export credit were facilitated.”

He added: “After Borjam, high-ranking officials and veterinary officials from different countries of the world have traveled to Iran and various memoranda of understanding have been signed in the agricultural sector.”

The heads of the Veterinary Organization of Iran and the Kingdom of Denmark today signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine.

The memorandum emphasizes the provision of safe and secure trade opportunities for economic actors in the two countries, scientific cooperation, prevention of transboundary diseases and the development of laboratory cooperation in the field of aquatic and aquatic fish health.

The use of new technologies in the production of drugs, vaccines and biological materials and facilitating the process of export and import of products of the two countries are other provisions of this memorandum.
