Export of more than 20 tons of fish from Astara to Russia, the head of the Astara Veterinary Network announced the export of 20,148 kilograms of cold-water and hot-water fish from the land border of the customs of this city to Russia.
In an interview with IRNA on Tuesday, Bahram Pourzarb said: “This amount of fish was exported to Russia in frozen form with the permission of the General Veterinary Administration of West Azerbaijan Province and under the supervision of the Astara Veterinary Network.”
He added: “For the first time this year, fish shipments have been exported from the land border of Astara abroad and the economic value of this amount of exported fish is 241 thousand dollars.”
