Permission to set up a special economic zone in Shush was issued: The governor of Shush announced the issuance of a permit to set up a special economic zone in this region of northern Khuzestan.
Reza Nejati said: the establishment of a special economic zone in this region has been approved in the meeting of the working group for planning and sustainable development of Khuzestan in the presence of the head of the management and planning organization of the province. He added: 36 hectares of land have been located for the construction of Shousha special economic zone and it will be created in three stages.
The governor of Shousha, stating that the formation of a special economic zone in Shousha as the third special economic zone in Khuzestan province can lead to economic prosperity and export of agricultural products, added: “Considering the strategic position of Shousha and its comparative advantage, the construction of a special economic zone It is an economic necessity in this region. Referring to the activity of Shousha Special Economic Zone in the two industrial sectors and the export of agricultural products, Nejati noted: Currently, the two economic zones of Bandar Imam Khomeini and Mahshahro Petrochemical Special Economic Zone are active in the Arvand Industrial Free Trade Zone in southern Khuzestan.
