The Director General of Iran’s Customs announced the implementation of new measures for the clearance of export goods within the next 10 days and said: “From now on, the export border will also issue export licenses.”
According to IRNA’s economic correspondent, “Massoud Karbasian” on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Belarus Customs, said in response to a question to facilitate exports: “Before, the exporter first declared his goods to customs and customs experts Valuation of goods, export licenses were issued and sealed to get the goods out of the country.
He added: “In the new procedure, which is done electronically, exporters can declare their goods 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and at the same time determine the exit border and obtain an export license.”
Karbasian continued: “By doing this, the export goods will be evaluated by customs experts at the same border, if necessary, they will be sealed and taken out of the border.”
Emphasizing that with this method, the delay of export goods at the border will be minimized, he added: it is no longer necessary for the goods to be sealed once in the domestic customs and to be checked again at the border; This will issue the exporter license at the same border.

Facilitate the export of petrochemicals

Regarding new decisions on the export of petrochemical products and reducing delays in the export of these products, the director general of Iran’s customs said: “With the cooperation of the Commodity Exchange Organization, the Ministry of Oil and the Anti-Money Laundering Headquarters, Reputable and other exporters are eliminated.
