Note: The maximum amount of foreign goods that can be sent by post will be $ 80 per person.
Receipt of goods by mail
Clearance of goods imported by mail, except for items that are prohibited by law or law, provided that it is not commercialized up to a maximum value of fifty (50) dollars in the name of each person without paying customs duties and commercial interest, without requiring a business card And the licenses specified in the table of export and import regulations are unrestricted. In case the import of goods becomes a trade flow or creates other problems for the country, the Ministry of Commerce, in coordination with the Ministry of Posts, Telegraphs and Telephones, can announce the list of the mentioned goods to prevent customs clearance.
Note: It is also possible to import the goods subject to Article (38) of the Export and Import Regulations (without transferring currency) by mail.
Article 38 Export and Import Regulations: (Definitive import of goods without currency transfer) The licenses stipulated in the table attached to this regulation can be cleared.
1- Spare parts, cutting tools, new or used molds and samples of goods (for research and copying) for production, training or research units as well as samples of drugs (pharmaceutical products, raw materials and excipients) and materials needed for packaging, equipment And medical, laboratory and health supplies, baby milk and food, books and publications and laboratory equipment and scientific research requirements for medical universities, if not commercial, can be entered directly in the name of the production unit or the relevant educational or research or treatment institute. Is clearance.
2- In case of unloading deduction, waste of imported goods and discrepancy between imported goods and ordered goods, the foreign seller is required to send free goods to compensate for the damage.
Note 1- The deficit of the contents of the consignments (C.K.D) of the assembly factories, which are determined after the customs clearance of the goods, can be cleared only with the discretion of the relevant Ministry of Production and the approval of the Ministry of Commerce.
Note 2- Imported items required by production units that are determined after customs clearance do not have the quality ordered, can be cleared with the approval of the relevant Ministry of Production and the approval of the Ministry of Commerce.
3- In cases where the buyer succeeds in obtaining a discount from the seller, by specifying the connection between the case and his previous import, the import and clearance of the sent goods for the discount is unrestricted at the discretion of the Iranian Customs and with the consent of the Ministry of Commerce.
4- Catalogs, brochures, calendars, booklets, CDs, diskettes, tapes and microfilms containing technical and commercial specifications of goods, documents related to transport of goods, technical drawings and samples without intrinsic price (such as textile boards, etc.) without paying commercial profit and without Obtaining the licenses specified in the table attached to this regulation can be cleared.
5- The goods required by the contractors and consultants can be imported and cleared with the recognition and approval of the relevant government organization and with the approval of the Ministry of Commerce.
6- Temporary or permanent clearance of books and publications, CDs, disks, tapes and microfilms containing scientific and cultural materials and other products of the printing, duplication and copying industry in scientific and technical fields with the approval of the Ministries of Science, Research and Technology. “Health, treatment and medical education” as the case may be and in other fields with the consent of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance can be done without any other permission.
7- The components, equipment and supplies required for the production line of domestic production units, which are sent free of charge by foreign sellers to the production unit according to the sales contract, can be cleared at the discretion of the relevant production ministry and with the consent of the Ministry of Commerce.
8- Components and parts required for maintenance and after-sales service of foreign devices available in the country can be cleared by authorized agencies by obtaining the necessary permits.
