Prohibition of order registration of 80 rows of goods tariffs from foreign countries, especially the United States
An official at the Ministry of Industry said that the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade had compiled a list last week in which more than 80 lines of tariffs on foreign goods, especially American ones, were banned.
In recent weeks, the Supreme Leader has emphasized in his speech that the import of goods similar to those in the country should be banned, and at the same time the import of consumer goods from the United States has been one of the things he has been emphasizing in recent months.
In this regard, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, issued an order to compile a list of consumer goods that have similar goods of domestic quality.
An official at the Ministry of Industry, who did not want to be named in the news, told Fars News Agency today: “Last week, Mr. Nematzadeh compiled a list of 80 tariff lines that include more than 100 items of high-consumption goods, which are similar.” They are of high quality and from now on the registration of orders for their import is prohibited.
Regarding the details of these goods, he added: “All of these goods will be banned from importing from foreign countries, especially the United States, except for the medical instruments that have been removed from this list, and this list has been notified to all relevant organizations for implementation.”
