Prohibition of export of fruits and vegetables without standardized identity card, with the agreement of exporters and consensus on export standardization in the field of fruits and vegetables, any export outside these standards will soon be banned.
According to the online news agency of the Trade Relations Organization of Iran, Mojtaba Khosrotaj, Director General of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, referring to the customs concerns about non-compliance with the packaging specifications of fruits and vegetables for export last year, said: From now on, fruits and vegetables will be exported with special specifications and the same packaging.
Speaking at the first meeting of the Fruit and Vegetable Desk at the Trade Development Organization, he noted the importance of cooperation and synergy between organizations related to the export of fruits and vegetables: “Our main concern is to develop short-term and long-term strategic plans to remove obstacles and Development of export of fruit and vegetable products.
Also, in the continuation of this meeting, more than 30 cases of problems in this field such as tax barriers, bank profits, transportation, health controls, product health licenses and the like will be discussed and analyzed by exporters, production and export organizations, representatives. Jihad Keshavarzi, Shipping, Transportation Organization and provinces related to fruit and vegetable exports and deputies in this field were placed and it was decided that the issues raised will be on the agenda of experts in the next two weeks and solutions will be reviewed. Iranian fruits and vegetables worth $ 942 million and weighing 3.6 thousand tons have been exported to countries such as Russia, Qatar, Pakistan, UAE, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
