The import of 60 items of oil industry goods was banned
The import of 60 items of oil industry goods was banned in cooperation with the Ministries of Oil and Industry, Mines and Trade.
Ramin Qalambar Dezfuli, Director of Production Support and Supply of Goods of the National Iranian Oil Company, said in the conference “Formation of reference committees for determining the standards of 10 groups of domestically made goods” which was held in Shahid Rajaei Hall of the National Iranian Gas Company: “Last year, excellent coordination and cooperation The Ministry of Petroleum, the National Iranian Oil Company, and the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade discussed items that are internalized and purchased from within.
The director of manufacturing support and supply of goods of the National Iranian Oil Company added: “In the framework of this coordination, the list of 94 items was announced to the Ministry of Industry and after holding expert meetings, 60 items were finally approved and its import was banned.”
He continued: the import of new items will be banned this year with the cooperation and assistance of the Deputy Minister of Oil for Engineering, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Industry.
Referring to the achievements of the National Iranian Oil Company in the field of localization of items, Qalambar Dezfuli said: “Currently, there are 100 main items in this company, of which more than 70% have been localized.”
According to him, some of these items were made by reverse engineering, while these goods are also in the list of 10 commodity groups for the transfer of modern technology in the world.
The director of manufacturing support and supply of goods of the National Iranian Oil Company reminded: the localization of these items started in 2000 and now we are not dependent on foreign manufacturers in the manufacture of many equipments of the oil industry.
