Imposition of tariffs for the export of crude iron ore from next year
Imposition of tolls for the export of crude iron from next year, the Deputy Minister of Mines said: From next year, the export of iron ore will be done with the imposition of tolls. There is no ban on the export of iron ore, but we have the issue of imposing duties on the agenda. He stated that the amount of duties that can be imposed for the export of iron ore has not been determined yet. He described the imposition of these duties as preventing the export of raw iron ore and said: “In this way, added value will be created in the country.”
Regarding the implementation of seven steel projects, he said: “The first project will be launched next week, and by consuming iron ore in the country and converting it to steel, more added value will be created. Preventing the sale of raw materials is one of the most important issues in economic policies.” It is a resistance that, with its realization, we will see the creation of more added value in the economic sectors, job creation and the completion of the production chain.
