26 customs offices were barred from clearing spare parts
According to Asr Khodro news website, quoted by Tasnim, the customs removed 26 customs and border markets from the list of customs clearance and definitive import of spare parts in a circular. Previously, all customs, including customs offices located in deprived provinces, had the possibility of performing import and clearance procedures for car spare parts.
It is stated in this circular, following the circular 75480 dated 24/4/94 of the then Deputy Minister of Technical and Customs Affairs (subject to determining specialized customs in the procedures of definite import and definite export) and the circulars following it leading to the circular No. 19688 dated 10/10/94 19 and in the implementation of the decisions taken in the meeting dated 05/03/1995 of the Administrative Health Promotion Committee, it was decided that Ilam, Shahrekord, Sandaj, Khorramabad, Sarv, Khoy, Tamarchin, Poldasht, Pars Special Economic Zone, Bolkhair, Kangan, Deir, Rig, Deylam, Sajafi, Milk, Mirjaveh, Pishin, Bam, Fereydoun Kenar, Khamir, Tiab, Sirik, Jask, Hormoz, Yazdan and all border markets should refuse to accept the declaration and perform customs formalities for the definitive import of car and motorcycle spare parts.
According to Tasnim, suspicions have recently been published regarding the clearance of spare parts from the southern provinces of the country. China, Japan, Germany, South Korea and the United States have the largest exports and customer acquisition in the Middle East in the field of auto spare parts, respectively.
