According to the announcement of the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, rice importers have the opportunity to clear and export consignments of imported rice from the country’s customs only until the end of September 8, 2010.

According to the Iranian customs communiqué, rice importers have only 5 days to clear imported rice consignments from the executive customs. Their customs clearance has been done until the end of office hours on 31 August of this year, except for the departure of goods from the customs. The exit of goods is unimpeded until the end of 17 September.

This year, the rice import ban season started with a month delay compared to previous years, and the Ministry of Jihad for Agriculture, in a sudden decision, set the end of August as the start of the rice import ban season to support domestic rice production. And rice merchants accompanied.
